On January 16, 2012, Notre Dame Food Services kicked off the semester with a new line of packaged sandwiches and salads. Produced in our own Food Service Support Facility, this line of sandwiches and salads is designed to delight the palate. These products will be available in our various retail units across campus; you can just grab it and go, featuring Notre Dame’s Own and ND To Go Value options.
Chef Don Miller, CEC, CCE, AAC, began researching sandwich ideas over six months ago with the intent of bringing great tastes to campus.
In addition to flavor, nutrition is a key to this line. With whole grains, fresh fruits, and lean chicken breast, we offer healthy and light items to meet your nutritional needs.
We considered the environment while finding a way to make these convenient to you. Produced centrally on campus, food waste and transportation impact are minimized. Our packaging is a key consideration to the environment as well. Our new small salad bite packages are produced with less plastic and are recyclable. Our boxes are made from recycled materials, our sandwich bags utilize less packaging materials, and both can be recycled.

romaine, cucumber, red onion, kalamata olives, & feta
Mini Deli Platters
deli meats and cheeses, breads, vegetables, olives, and peppers
Golden Jewel Salad
couscous, orzo, yellow lentils, quinoa, diced fruit, and sweet mustard dressing
5 Grains with Pecans
with butternut squash, cranberries, bacon, pecans, and a light vinaigrette
Italian Sub
salami, ham, prosciutto, mozzarella, lettuce on baguette
Casablanca Wraps
couscous, kalamata olives, mint, cheddar, feta, and a lemon pesto vinaigrette in a spinach wrap
Turkey CranPesto
turkey with cranberry pecan spread on croissant
Smoked Salmon Sandwich
with red onion, arugula, and dill mayonnaise on ciabatta
Mini Caribbean Chicken Salad
chicken, mango, apricots, and honey lime vinaigrette on petit wheat rolls
ND to go will feature classics like garden salads, fresh fruit cups, simple turkey sandwiches, and classic ham and cheese on rye all value priced at less than $2.50.
