Chef Stephanie Izard is bringing her award-winning talents to the University of Notre Dame on Thursday, May 4, in the “Visiting Chef” series presented by Experience Notre Dame.
Izard is known for winning Bravo’s Top Chef and the Food Network’s Iron Chef titles, as well as her restaurants in Chicago, Girl & the Goat, Duck Duck Goat, and Cabra, along with Girl & the Goat and Cabra in Los Angeles.
At 12:30 p.m. students and the Notre Dame campus community are invited to join Izard in the North Dining Hall for a This Little Goat product giveaway and cooking demonstration. This event is not open to the public, but is open to all with meal plans and members of the campus community with purchase of a meal at the door.
At 2 p.m., Izard will be interviewed on the topic of “Tech and the Restaurant Industry” at the Carey Auditorium in Hesburgh Library. She will discuss the current state of the restaurant industry and what she sees as its future. This event is open to the public. Izard will be taking questions from the audience.
