Culinary Team USA

Josh Maron, Notre Dame Food Service Apprentice has been selected to “be a member of ACF Culinary Team USA for a day.”  Josh joined the American Culinary Federation’s (ACF®) apprenticeship program this year through the South Bend, IN, chapter.

Prior to joining the apprentice program, Josh worked as a cook in the North Dining Hall.  Josh juggles class work at Ivy Tech Community College, South Bend, IN, while working as a full time apprentice. 

Josh will experience a once in a lifetime opportunity working alongside the ACF Culinary National Team USA as they prepare for the “culinary Olympics”. 

In order to be selected for this honor, Josh had to demonstrate his organizational skills, his great personality, his drive to learn, and his great knife skills.  Josh’s selection to this group is a great accomplishment and will positively impact his career in the culinary industry.
