Campus Dining is proud to serve our customers with specific dietary requirements. As people understand more about their bodies and how to nourish them, special dietary guidelines have become more prevalent. If you would like to discuss your own diet and what that means for dining at one of our establishments, please contact us at dining@nd.edu.

Food Allergies, Celiac Disease, and Special Dietary Needs

We take great care to provide students who have special dietary needs which stem from food allergies or intolerances, with important food safety services. Depending on the severity, this service may range from providing a list of recipe ingredients to individualized meal preparation and specialty shopping. If you have a food allergy, celiac disease, or other special health condition, please review the Food Allergy and Medical Condition Action Plan.

Vegan Diets

One example of the special dietary accommodations we make are for those who are living a vegan lifestyle. We offer a selection of soups, entrees and sides that are vegan, containing no animal products. Visit our salad bars for a wide vegan selection, in many locations featuring tofu and edamame. Our steamed vegetables also feature no animal products. Soy milk is featured in our dining halls and many of our retail establishments offering another vegan choice.
