Over the summer months, improvements will be made to several campus restaurants.

Starbucks

On Monday, May 16th, Starbucks will cease operations to allow for a complete remodeling of the space that will bring it to current Starbucks standards. Besides an elevated decor, the new Starbucks will have additional offerings on the menu, including warm pastries and hot breakfast items.

Construction is projected to end on the second week of August with plans to reopen on August 12th. These are projected dates and are subject to change.

During construction time, Starbucks will offer a limited menu at the counter in the Huddle Mart including brewed and iced coffee and tea, flavored frozen coffee drinks, and signature desserts and pastries. While espresso will not be available at this location, customers are encouraged to visit Reckers or Au Bon Pain in the Hesburgh Library for these offerings.

Smashburger

Also on Monday, May 16th, Burger King will stop operations and construction to replace it with Smashburger will begin. Smashburger is scheduled to reopen before the begnining of the new academic year.

Decio Commons

DecioDecio Faculty Hall

On Monday, May 9th, Decio Commons will cease operations to allow for a complete remodeling of the space. This will not only enhance the appeal of the cafe but also contribute to a better service flow and quality of offerings.

Construction is projected to end on the second week of August with plans to reopen on August 15th. These are projected dates and are subject to change.

During the summer, Waddick's in O'Shaughnessy Hall will be open weekdays from 7:00am to 3:00pm to serve customers in Decio Hall and the surrounding area.
