ND Dining is committed to supporting students with specific dietary needs, including food allergies, celiac disease, and dietary intolerances. We understand the importance of nourishing your body effectively and strive to accomodate a variety of dietary requirements.

Our services for students with special dietary needs are designed with food safety as a priority. All of our managers and chefs have completed training and certifications in food allergies and celiac disease, including an emphasis on ongoing training. Our dieticians and culinarians gladly work with each student to customize a dietary support plan that is not only safe but nutritious, flexible, and delicious. We understand these restrictions are not a matter of choice or dietary preference. Beyond a matter of duty, it is our honor to walk alongside students as they navigate their needs while dining at Notre Dame.

If you have a dietary restriction, please review and complete our Food Allergy and Medical Condition Action Plan.

To discuss your specific dietary requirements and explore dining options, please contact us at dining@nd.edu.

The Olive Kitchen

A woman, wearing a white chef coat and a white chef hat, smiles as she shakes a bowl of fries. Order tickets, additional supplies, and a commercial kitchen can be seen in the background.

Are you looking for an easy way to dine with allergies on campus? Added in 2025, The Olive Kitchen is the University's newest allergen-friendly kitchen.
