Since its founding, Notre Dame has been committed to nourishing the mind, body, and spirit.

This commitment extends to the care we provide every student who lives and learns under the Dome. We strive for each member of our community to be cared for as they have need, including in the dining options available to them.

Introducing The Olive Kitchen, the University's fresh approach to allergen-friendly dining. It draws its name from the rich history associated with these stone fruits known to offer various health benefits due to their robust nutritional content. Olive trees can live for centuries, bearing the fruit and oil that also hold symbolic and spiritual significance, representing healing, peace, prosperity, and wisdom.

A chef, wearing a white chef coat and hat, smiles as she tosses an aluminum bowl of fries. Order receipts can be seen in a line as she prepares orders in a commercial kitchen.

Students who need the service can receive custom meals without worrying about cross-contamination. It's another way we're providing for our Notre Dame family in a holistic fashion.
